The National PTA celebrates over 50 years of hosting a Reflections Art Program in which students are invited to participate in an art contest showcasing their expression of choice along the theme of the year. This amazing program increases community awareness of the importance of arts in education. We encourage students to pursue artistic expression through participation in National PTA’s Reflections Art Program, however this is an optional program.
This year's theme: "I Will Change the World by . . .". How does this theme speak to you? Express it in several ways! WHY? Reflections encourages students of all ages to:

Recognition and Participation!
Artworks are submitted, recognized and celebrated and judged first to school-level PTAs across 2 grade-level divisions, while a non-judged Special Artists division celebrates student artists with special needs. The school entries will be judged and are then sent on to councils and then districts for consideration. The final artworks submitted to California State PTA by districts are then considered for Outstanding Interpretation, Awards of Excellence or Awards of Merit. Outstanding Interpretation and Award of Excellence entries then go on to represent California in the final National PTA judging round. |
