What is Doodle 4 Google?
Doodle 4 Google, also stylized Doodle4Google, is an annual competition in various countries, held by Google, to have children create a Google doodle that will be featured on the local Google homepage as a doodle. And also for fun. The winner's doodle will appear on the Google homepage. Prize: Win a $30,000 college scholarship, a $50,000 tech package for your school/non-profit organization, and your artwork displayed for a day on Google.com! Other prizes here. How do I enter? What do I submit? Students can work with any materials they want, but all doodles must be entered using the entry form.
Students need a signature from their parent or guardian on their entry form to enter the contest. Make sure all other information on the entry form is filled out as well, including the artist’s statement. You can check out the most current Doodle at google.com, or view a library of Doodles at google.com/doodles. |
