Our Mission

To positively impact the lives of all children and families at Westlake!

Westlake’s PTA is a 100% volunteer-based organization run by parents, teachers and school staff committed to the well-being of all Westlake children.
The PTA works to promote the health and welfare of our children and seek to promote collaboration between parents, schools, and the community at large.
The PTA coordinates and sponsors many community and fundraising activities to enhance the experience of our students and their families as they learn and grow at Westlake.

Our Purposes of the PTA

To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, places of worship, and throughout the community;
To raise the standards of home life;
To advocate for laws that further the education, physical and mental health, welfare, and safety of children and youth;
To promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth;
To engage the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well- being of all children and youth; and
To advocate for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding.

After school enrichment programs
Performing arts assemblies
Life Lab
5th grade science camp and graduation
Library supplies
Outdoor sports supplies

Community Activities - The PTA coordinates and supports a variety of community activities throughout the year. In a typical year, these events include Family Arts Night, Family Movie Night, Spooky Story Night and Popcorn and Popsicle Fridays. These events bring us all together for fun with friends new and old.
