What we do with your generous contributions:

Our Westlake Elementary School PTA provides essential programs, services and events that impact your children daily – things that would not be possible through state funds alone.  Unfortunately, our local schools are impacted by severe budget cuts – cuts that have eliminated many arts and enrichment programs in most school districts including ours.  Continued fundraising efforts by our hardworking volunteers and contributions from our parents, extended family members, neighbors and esteemed business partners in the local community help to support the following programs, support services and event:

You donation goes to support: 

• Classroom Learning Assistants for the lower grades
• Yard Duty Support
• Playworks Coach (Coach Zell)
• Teacher Supplies, Books, Computers
• Art, Music and Dance support and Art Coordinator (Dorothy Franks)
• School Assemblies
• After School Enrichment Programs such as Guitar, Math Club, Lunchtime Chess, etc.
• Life Lab extra hours so all classes can enjoy being in the garden.
• Playground Equipment (Balls, Jump Ropes, Hula Hoops, you-name-it)
• Our Annual Science Fair
• Community Sharing Programs such as International Day and Night, Family Movie Nights, Winter Artisan Fair, Family Arts Night, Spooky Story Night....
