Community Bike Collective
The Community Bike Collective is partnering with Westlake Elementary in bike donation/refurbish/giveaway events that will directly benefit our community by turning under-utilized bikes into cherished gifts!
The Community Bike Collective is a volunteer run nonprofit located in Watsonville that is dedicated to providing access to quality bikes. Within the last year, the Community Bike Collective has refurbished over 100 bikes and donated them to those in need throughout Santa Cruz County! We have found that our simple model of collecting donated bikes, refurbishing them, and giving them away to deserving folks, is most effective in highly engaged communities. That is why the Community Bike Collective is requesting your help. |
DONATE A BIKE
Saturday May, 7 - Westlake Elementary School Parking Lot 10am-12pm
Have a bike that hasn’t seen the light of day in a while? First fill out this donation form, then drop off your bike at the Westlake Elementary School parking lot on Saturday, May 7 from 10-12. Filling out the donation form ensures we match your bike with a person in need.
Worried about the condition of your old bike or the size? We will take any size bike and, as long as it isn’t completely frozen with rust, we will do our best to bring it back to life.
